THE CLINIC

Canberra Glow Clinic is a dedicated non-surgical aesthetics destination, established as an extension of Canberra Plastic Surgery — a trusted name in Canberra for almost 30 years. Built within the same clinical environment, the clinic focuses exclusively on evidence-based, non-surgical cosmetic and skin treatments, offering patients a refined alternative to surgical intervention.

The clinic provides a comprehensive range of medical aesthetic and rejuvenating treatments, including medical aesthetics, Rejuran, microneedling, and advanced energy-based technologies such as IPL, NanoFractional RF, radiofrequency via the Venus platform, and Clear + Brilliant. Curated medical-grade skincare ranges, including Synergie and SkinCeuticals, complement in-clinic treatments to support skin health and longevity.

Canberra Glow Clinic was created to address a broad spectrum of skin and aesthetic concerns — from volume loss and fine lines to pigmentation, ageing changes, and preventative skin care. The philosophy is centred on thoughtful, tailored treatment planning, with an emphasis on skin quality, balance, and long-term outcomes.

The clinic is led by Dr Beatrice Tonks, Cosmetic Doctor, supported by two highly experienced Registered Nurses who deliver treatments with a consistent, patient-focused approach. While the plastic surgeon from Canberra Plastic Surgery remains involved in select aspects of non-surgical care, surgical practice is not the primary focus of the clinic, allowing Canberra Glow Clinic to specialise fully in non-invasive treatments.

Located in Barton, surrounded by Canberra’s public service and professional precinct, the clinic offers a discreet, clinical setting designed for privacy and comfort. While it may be tucked away from street frontage, Canberra Glow Clinic prioritises clinical excellence, experience, and trust — expanding awareness of the non-surgical options available within a long-established medical practice.

Meet DR beatrice tonks

Cosmetic Physician | BMed AHPRA: MED0002227559

Dr. Beatrice is a Canberra-based medical practitioner with a focus on precision and individuality in aesthetic medicine. Rather than following trends, she prioritises thoughtful, tailored treatments designed to complement each patient's natural features.

With the opening of Canberra Glow Clinic within Canberra Plastic Surgery, patients have access to both surgical and non-surgical care, supporting a considered and holistic approach to aesthetic concerns.

Dr. Beatrice's background in intensive care medicine informs her attention to detail and her focus on subtle facial balancing, skin quality, and long-term treatment planning. Her approach to aesthetic medicine is guided by the principle that good cosmetic medicine should be difficult to detect — refined, balanced, and in harmony with the individual.

She values a calm, honest clinical environment where education and trust are central to the patient relationship. Aesthetic medicine, in her view, is a collaborative process.

Committed to ongoing education and clinical excellence, Dr. Beatrice continually refines her techniques to reflect current best practice. Canberra Glow Clinic offers a discreet, professional environment where patients can explore their options at their own pace.

Dr. Tonks is the founding plastic surgeon of Canberra Plastic Surgery, establishing the practice with a focus on precision, integrity, and a patient-first approach to surgical care.

Canberra Glow Clinic operates alongside Canberra Plastic Surgery, offering both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic options within the same environment. Dr. Tonks' understanding of facial anatomy, ageing, and proportion informs the standards of care across both services, ensuring clinical decisions are grounded in informed medical judgment.

His approach to consultations is thorough and honest, with a longstanding commitment to conservative practice — recommending treatment only where it is clinically appropriate and aligned with the patient's goals.

Dr. Tonks remains actively involved in mentoring the clinical team and guiding the clinic's direction, with a focus on ensuring surgical and non-surgical care are thoughtfully aligned.
